Duty Manager

We are looking for multiple Duty Managers to work at our Auckland based Beauty Salon. The right person will be handling the operations of a busy Salon which has great foot and vehicle traffic. This is a Position for anyone looking at organising and controlling the Beauty Salon and ensuring it is always in a presentable manner. 

We want to invest in the right candidate and provide full training and support. We are in genuine need of Duty Managers who will have the responsibility of the operations within the Organisation keeping in mind the Budget and profitability of the Salon. 

GOOD SALARY with Perks offered, based on your Experience, and the Perfect Candidate must have a Can-do attitude. 

 

Minimum Pay rate will be $31.20 and the employer is willing to go up to $ 34.50 per hour based on Work Experience. 

Location : Manukau City, Auckland, 

Job type : Full time – 30 hours Minimum per week, based on a rotating Roster 

Duration : Permanent 

 

About the role: The role is for a Duty Manager who will liaise with the higher management and handle Customers. The Duty Manager must maintain stock level and Records of the Salon. The Manager will be required to Coordinate with junior staff and allocate Staff training appropriately in different services provided at the Salon. The Duty Manager will be communicating with Owners, looking after customers, and providing feedback in relation to the day to day operations of the Salon. The role is suitable for someone who has an ability to learn, has good decision-making skills, knows how to work in a team and knows how to work responsibly. 

 

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes: 

• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the Salon timings from Monday to Sunday 

• Similar Retail Experience is preferred 

• Positive attitude, Building Rapport with Staff and Customers, and ability to thrive under pressure 

• Excellent communication skills and Handling customer professionally 

 • Great presentation and Personal Hygiene, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
