GARDENER

ONLINE TREND LIMITED is currently looking for 2 Gardner on a full-time permanent position. The hourly wage rates from $28.00 to $40.00. The company is based in Waikato Region, but you may have to travel outside of region for business purposes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining soil by digging, aerating, fertilising, and conditioning to promote optimal plant growth.
• Planting, transplanting, watering, and nurturing flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
• Mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning lawns, hedges, and trees to maintain neat and healthy landscapes.
• Identifying and treating plant diseases, weeds, and pest infestations using appropriate methods and chemicals.
• Applying fertilisers, herbicides, and pesticides in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintaining irrigation systems, including installing, adjusting, and repairing sprinklers and watering systems.
• Cleaning and maintaining garden tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Landscaping tasks such as laying turf, mulching, and assisting in garden design improvements.
• Removing garden waste, leaves, and debris to maintain cleanliness and safety of outdoor areas.
• Monitoring plant health and reporting any issues or required improvements to supervisors or management.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assisting in seasonal planting and garden preparation activities.

Qualification: Diploma level 4 or above or
Experience - 2 years relevant experience
