Join Our Team of Expert Resin Floor Installers! We are a leading company specialising in resin flooring systems for commercial, industrial, and residential environments. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Floor Finisher to install Epoxy, Polyurethane, and other resin systems, ensuring top-quality finishes that last.
We're looking for an experienced Flooring Installer with at least 2 years of proven work experience in New Zealand, working on commercial, industrial and residential job sites installing resin flooring systems.
What We Offer:
Remuneration between $32 - $38/hour (to be discussed)
On-the-job training with industry experts
Opportunities to work on diverse and exciting projects
Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure floor areas from physical spaces or construction plans to estimate material quantities and costs.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding and priming to ensure proper resin adhesion.
- Mix and apply resin systems (Epoxy, Polyurethane and others) according to project specifications.
- Level, smooth, and finish floors to achieve an even, durable surface for various environments.
- Apply sealants and waterproofing coatings as needed, ensuring long-lasting protection.
- Monitor curing times and maintain correct temperatures/humidity to ensure optimal results.
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines, including using proper PPE, managing hazardous materials, and maintaining clean workspaces.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards to ensure a secure work environment for all team members.
Requirements:
- Physically fit – able to handle physically demanding tasks
- Work experience as described above.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests
- Willing to work weekends and night shifts depending on projects
- Clean driver's license and reliable transportation
- Honest, dependable, and trustworthy
- Strong attention to detail, must be able to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and well-presented to interact professionally with clients and the general public.
- Two contactable work references.
