We are a busy and fast-growing company in Auckland which is in the business of producing dairy products. We are looking for 2 x experienced Commercial Cleaners position available with an immediate start based in Auckland to join our busy team. You will be required to work as efficiently as possible, in a busy team environment. You must be a team player and must be able to work under pressure.

Our company is looking for someone reliable and ready to progress with our company. The job involves working in evening and late nights. You must be a team player with attention to detail. This role main responsibilities are industrial work areas, industrial machines, commercial cleaning, factory floor cleaning, floor buffing and other duties as required that are required to maintain hygiene.

The day-to-day duties involves;

  • Vacuuming carpets, floor curtains and upholstered furniture and industrial floor maintaining hygiene.
  • Cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings, office and floor.
  • Removing rubbish and recyclable material, and emptying containers, bins and trays and polishing floors.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting laundry and bathroom fixtures, replenishing supplies and reporting defective plumbing fixtures.
  • Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas and machines.
  • Applying acids and solvents to surfaces to remove stains and dirt.
  • Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes and fixtures
  • Removing lint, dust, soot, oil, grease, sludge and other residues from machines, and interiors and exteriors of boilers and tanks
  • May clean exteriors of buildings by sandblasting and applying solvents.

To be considered for this role you should be able to provide previous work references. You should have at least one year experience as a commercial cleaner. This job sometimes requires heavy lifting so you should be physically fit.

Preference will be given to candidates who are already in New Zealand and has relevant work experience.

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice/Police check when required.
