JZ Tattoo is a leading custom tattoo studio in the heart of Auckland CBD. We are recognised as one of New Zealand's most reputed and influential studios. We specialise in distinctive, one-of-a-kind tattoos across a range of styles, working closely with each client to bring their vision to life.

We're looking for talented and passionate body artists — tattoo artists and piercers — to join our growing Auckland team. If you take pride in your craft and thrive in a busy, dynamic studio environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Who we need

We’re seeking a body artist with the following qualifications and skills:

• An impressive and original portfolio showcasing your tattoo/piercing work;
• A relevant two-year experience in a beauty service shop; or
• A relevant Level 4 qualification in Fine Arts, Design, Painting, or Drawing;  
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients;
• A good work ethic and professional attitude

What We Offer

• Competitive pay of $45–$55 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
• A minimum of 30 hours per week
• A creative studio environment that supports and encourages your artistic growth

Your Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their vision and design preferences, providing expert guidance on styles, placement and aftercare
• Perform tattooing and/or piercing services to a high professional standard, with precision and meticulous attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic workstation in accordance with health and safety requirements
• Deliver a consistently exceptional client experience, from initial consultation through to aftercare advice
