The business services corporate and high‑profile clients and also works as a subcontractor to other transport providers. With multiple service partnerships and a growing fleet of 7–8 vehicles, the company requires an Manager to oversee the entire business, drive growth, manage client relationships, and ensure smooth coordination between operations and drivers.

Position Title: Road Transport Manager
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $30 – $40 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience Or Level 4 qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall business operations including luxury transport services, subcontracting services, and client partnerships.
  • Manage and grow key client relationships with corporate, airline, and luxury transport partners.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Manage daily luxury transport operations including vehicle scheduling and dispatch.
  • Manage and coordinate drivers to meet service standards and client requirements.
  • Ensure vehicles are presented to luxury standards and maintained correctly.
  • Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, and compliance (WOF, registration).
  • Monitor driver performance, attendance, and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and transport regulations.
  • Maintain operational records, driver logs, and fleet documentation.
  • Liaise with the director regarding performance and operational issues.
  • Respond to service disruptions, delays, and customer issues promptly.
  • Support onboarding, training, and induction of drivers.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee budgets, cost control, pricing strategy (where applicable), and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health & safety, and service standards.
  • Prepare operational performance reports and strategic recommendations for the Director.
