We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of our operations.
The Role
As Office Manager, you will be the operational backbone of our organisation, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our office environment, administrative systems, and support functions. This is a key leadership role that requires initiative, strong organisational ability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
Office Manager, your duties will include:
• Organising and supervising the activities and work of office staff to ensure that all work is completed accurately and on schedule
• Reviewing and implementing office procedures and workflow to improve efficiency and maintain high standards across administrative operations
• Managing the use of and maintaining supplies and equipment, including overseeing procurement, maintenance, and asset records
• Coordinating and overseeing office services including reception, filing, communications, and records management
• Liaising with management to prepare reports, budgets, and correspondence on behalf of the organisation
• Assisting in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of office personnel
• Managing scheduling and coordination of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management and staff
• Overseeing compliance with workplace health and safety (WH&S) policies and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained
• Handling office correspondence, managing databases, and ensuring accurate record-keeping systems are in place
• Supporting financial administration tasks including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense monitoring in coordination with the finance team
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in an office management, administration, or supervisory role
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office management software
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Experience in the transport or logistics industry is advantageous but not essential
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business administration or a related field is preferred
This is a full time permanent role with
$85000 to $89000 p.a as depending upon experience
Minimum hours: 30 hours per week
Maximum hours: 40 hours per week
Estimate start 8am to 4pm finish
