Roofer Assistant

We are looking for Assistants to Roofer

Job includes performing the below tasks -

• Unloading roofing materials
• Delivering material to the roof using ladders, pulleys, and ropes
• Assisting roofers by clearing debris and other unused materials from the roof before and after each project
• Assisting roofers in applying grit or other roofing materials
• Assisting with repairing
• Preparing roofs for re-roofing or new roofing projects
• Inspecting potential problems in roofs and providing input and suggestions
• Installing insulation layers following predetermined procedures and protocols
• Removing and discarding old roofing materials
•  Following safety rules and regulations at all times

To be successful for this role, you should have:

• A high level of physical fitness
• Quick learner
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
• Ability to follow instructions and learn from experienced roofers
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

We offer a minimum of 35 hours per week.

The jobs will be allocated in Auckland with the team.
