We have an opportunity for experienced duct fitters for a fixed term commercial role in Wellington
We are looking for experienced Duct Installers to join our team for upcoming an upcoming commercial project in Wellington. This is initially a 2 month fixed term role, with the opportunity to extend for a further 10 months for the right person.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Install rectangular and spiral ductwork to drawings and schedules
  • Fit offsets, transitions/reducers, cut-ins/take-offs and general ductwork components
  • Assist with hangers/supports, penetrations, and coordination around other trades
  • Maintain strong H&S standards, safety-first mindset 
  • Measure and cut pipes and ductwork to the required dimensions
  • Work autonomously and part of a team, ensuring high quality work is being completed 
  • Keep a clean, organised work area
 
Requirements:
 
  • Proven commercial ducting experience in New Zealand
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings (layouts, sections, elevations, schedules)
  • Confident with installation basics: set-out, hangers, transitions/reducers, and take-offs
  • Basic hand and power tools, SDS concrete drill
