A large, purpose‑driven organisation is seeking an Infrastructure Platform Lead to provide end‑to‑end ownership across its core technology platforms.

You’ll shape platform strategy, guide technical direction, and ensure platforms evolve in a deliberate, well‑governed way while continuing to perform reliably day to day.

You don’t need to be an expert in everything, collaboration is central to how these roles operate, with specialist teams and delivery partners supporting execution.

What you’ll be doing
  • Owning your platform domain end‑to‑end, including strategy, standards, governance, and lifecycle management
  • Defining “what good looks like” and guiding architecture, design, and delivery decisions
  • Ensuring platforms are secure, resilient, well‑performing, and fit for purpose
  • Overseeing the successful delivery of change and ensuring it is embedded into ongoing operations
  • Working closely with delivery partners and vendors to ensure service stability and agreed outcomes
  • Supporting operational performance, risk management, and continuous improvement
  • Contributing to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and uplift
  • Collaborating closely with other platform leads and stakeholders across technology and the wider business
We’re looking for people who offer:
  • Proven experience owning and evolving infrastructure platforms over time
  • Sound judgement and the ability to assess trade‑offs, risks, and constraints pragmatically
  • Experience balancing change delivery with stable day‑to‑day service performance
  • A solid understanding of security, resilience, service tiering, and operational risk
  • Exposure to disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing
  • Familiarity with ITIL-aligned practices (incident, problem, and change management)
  • Experience working with third‑party vendors and delivery partners
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • A continuous‑improvement mindset with a focus on long‑term platform maturity and value
What’s on offer
  • Competitive salary package with annual review and performance incentives
  • Flexible and hybrid working options
  • Comprehensive health, wellbeing, and income protection insurance
  • Enhanced leave provisions, including additional company‑paid days
  • Enhanced KiwiSaver contributions
  • Learning and development support to grow your capability and influence
  • A one‑off contribution to support your home office setup (if required)
  • A supportive, inclusive culture that values balance, integrity, and purpose
Why join? You’ll be joining an organisation that sees technology as a critical enabler of long‑term sustainability, resilience, and community impact. You’ll work alongside people who care deeply about doing the right thing, supporting one another, and continuously improving how services are delivered.

Diversity, inclusion, and flexibility are genuinely supported, and applications are welcomed from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and ways of working.
If you enjoy ownership, influence, and shaping platforms that matter, we’d love to hear from you.
