Role Overview
IMPACT OUTDOORS LIMITED is seeking one reliable Bookkeeper to manage our financial
records across our locations in Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for
ensuring the financial health of the company through meticulous record-keeping and
reporting.
You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and maximum of 40 hours
per week.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial
accounts. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and balancing accounts using both digital
software and manual systems. - Keeping a close eye on cash flow and managing company credit lines.
- Generating financial statements, budget reports, and spending analyses to help
management understand our financial position. - Handling essential paperwork, including the preparation of invoices, purchase
orders, and daily bank deposits. - Performing regular bank reconciliations to ensure our internal ledgers match
monthly statements. - Checking all recorded transactions for accuracy and flagging any unusual activity to
management immediately. - Assisting with the preparation of business tax documents, such as GST returns and
other official obligations. - Continuously reviewing and updating financial records to ensure they meet company
standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience in bookkeeping or a similar
accounting support role OR a relevant qualification. - Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens, Residents, or hold a valid work visa with
the legal right to work full-time.
