Role Overview


IMPACT OUTDOORS LIMITED is seeking one reliable Welder. You will be required to work a
minimum of 30 hours per week and maximum of 40 hours per week.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Use precision measuring instruments to align components before permanent joining.
  • Execute welds, bolts, or rivets to fuse sections, specializing in high-pressure vessels
    and piping.
  • Inspect weld integrity, checking for proper penetration, bead width, and adherence
    to industry standards.
  • Smooth joins via grinding and chiselling and apply chemical or mechanical finishes
    for a polished result.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in metal fabrication, assembly, or welding.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately.
  • Knowledge of metalworking tools, machines, and welding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various environments.
    Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
  • Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens, Residents, or hold a valid work visa with
    the legal right to work full-time.
