Kaile Limited, established in 2011 and based in Auckland, operates in the construction industry, delivering a wide range of building and construction services. To meet growing client demand and ensure high-quality project delivery, the company requires several skilled carpenters to join the team.

The role will include, but not limited to:

  • To study drawings and specifications to decide what materials to be used and relevant installation procedures
  • To cut materials with chainsaw, assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts with tools such as drills
  • To repair exiting wood planks with chainsaw and electric planner
  • To establish the framework of structures
  • To erect framework and roof framing, lay floorboard and check the trueness of structures
  • To nail fascia panels, sheathing roofs and ceiling batten, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
  • To assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
  • To cut wood joints with tools such as chainsaw
  • May construct concrete formwork
  • May work with plastic laminates, Perspex and metals
  • Other duties may be reasonably required by the business owner or directo

Job pre-requisites: 

  • At least 2 years full-time relevant experience (experience gained in the same industry can be considered as meeting the experience requirements)
  • Relevant qualification or certificate is preferable but not a must
  • Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.
  • physically capable of performing heavy work be able to work overtime 
  • excellent work ethics and great time management passion for the industry.
  • The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions
