Forklift Operator / Dispatch Assistant – Christchurch

Our client is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator / Dispatch Assistant to join their team in a busy warehouse and dispatch environment.
This is a hands-on role working within the dispatch area, supporting the movement and preparation of carton products ready for distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the dispatch area coordinating outgoing product
  • Operating a forklift to move and stack goods safely
  • Working off the belt, managing cartons coming through from the warehouse
  • Stacking products onto pallets and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Entering data into the company’s in-house system when required
  • Supporting the supervisor to manage workflow and meet daily targets
What we’re looking for:
  • Current Forklift licence with F endorsement
  • Full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Team player with the ability to follow direction from supervisors
