Seeking a dynamic and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Christchurch team.

The Role:

As the first point of contact for our valued customers, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include managing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. You’ll work with Salesforce (CRM) and Sage (ERP) systems to ensure accurate records and smooth operations across departments.

  • Full-time, permanent position with immediate start.
  • Location: Cumnor Terrace, Woolston
  • Days: Sunday to Thursday
  • Hours: 08.30 am to 05.00 pm

The job:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through prompt and accurate order processing and communication
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting sales and data accuracy
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and online channels
  • Enter and manage customer orders in Sage (ERP) and update records in Salesforce (CRM)
  • Monitor and manage customer backorders to ensure timely delivery
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities to support revenue growth
  • Follow up on customer queries, complaints, and requests, coordinating with internal teams for resolution
  • Prospect new clients and convert them into loyal customers through outbound calls.
  • Negotiate and close sales, exceeding targets.

  • Professional phone manner and strong communication skills
  • Proven experience in Customer services, outbound telesales or another sales/customer service role.
  • Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication abilities in English
  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and strong data entry skills
  • Excellent time management and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (essential); experience with Salesforce and ERP systems (advantageous)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and adaptable approach
  • Reliable transport to and from work.
  • Knowledge of the food services or warehouse industry is a plus
  • Year 13 or equivalent tertiary qualification required
