Manager

Punjab 2014 Limited is looking for a Manager to join the busy Challenge Southshore petrol station in Christchurch.

Some of the tasks related to this position are:

  • Handle, control and manage business operations
  • Create and follow plans for buying products, marketing them, and setting prices
  • Promote and advertise the business’s products and services
  • Help customers by selling products and giving advice on how to use them
  • Ensure the sales and profitability of the business
  • Keep track of stock and record financial transactions
  • Plan and manage the business’s budget
  • Decide which products to sell, how much stock to keep, and what level of service to provide
  • Hire, train, and manage staff
  • Make sure the workplace follows health and safety rules

Working on weekends and being available on calls are required for this position.

Offered Wage: $30 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
Employment is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

This is a managerial role where you'll be handling the sole charge of the petrol station.

You should have at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience or a relevant qualification (NZ Level 5 or higher).

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice check when required.
