We are looking for two experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.

We want to welcome friendly new team members who have a service mind and know how to work as a team.

Requirements 

• At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand

Job Description:

  • Discussing clients' medical history, lifestyle, and physical condition to plan suitable Thai massage treatments

  • Applying Thai massage techniques to manipulate soft tissues of the body, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments

  • Locating painful or tense areas of the body and using Thai massage techniques to enhance sports performance, prevent injury, and assist healing

  • Performing body treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension

  • Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice

  • Advising clients on stretching exercises, strengthening, and relaxation techniques to support recovery

  • Applying other complementary massage techniques as appropriate to assist the client's recovery

  • Preparing oils, linens, and other equipment required for massage treatments

  • Maintaining treatment records and referring clients to other healthcare practitioners when necessary

Other detail 

  • This is a full-time and permanent position

  • Wages range from $25 to $40 per hour depending on your skills and work experience, and you will be paid weekly

  • Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

  • You will be working at 180 Pakuranga Road, Pakuranga, Auckland

  • We are open from Monday to Sunday (Closed on Wednesday) 10.00 am – 7.00 pm

  • You will work according to a roster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
