XING YUAN HOME LIMITED is seeking  skilled Plasterers to join our team. The ideal candidate specializes in delivering high-quality surface finishes for both residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for preparing, plastering, and repairing walls and ceilings to achieve a flawless, paint-ready surface.

●        Location: AUCKLAND

●        Job type: Full-time Permanent

●        Number of positions for this job: up to 5

●        Pay rate: from $28-$32 per hour

●        Days required: 5-6 days/week

●        Hours per week: min 30, max 60 hours per week

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Apply and finish GIB stopping compounds over joints, fastener heads, and internal corners to create seamless, smooth surfaces..

• Perform skim coating to level out uneven substrates and provide a perfect finish on drywall and existing plastered surfaces.

• Execute precise plastering for both exterior walls (rendering) and interior walls (solid plastering), ensuring consistent thickness, adhesion, and alignment with design specifications

• Diagnose and repair cracks, holes, and damaged areas; perform fine sanding and touch-ups to blend repairs seamlessly with existing surfaces.

• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

Job Requirement

•  At least two-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification

 •  A“can-do” attitude

•  Have an eye on details

•  Self-motivated

•  Clean non-criminal record

•  Priority will be given to candidates with their own vehicles and tools.
