Build Support Limited is a New Zealand-based company operating in the construction sector. We specialise in the manufacturing and retail of aluminium doors/windows and relevant accessories.

We are seeking a Driver to join our team, responsible for delivering finished products to customer sites and collecting raw materials and other tools or components from suppliers. The role requires working a minimum of 30 hours and up to 45 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, with additional weekend work as rostered.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Safely operate company vehicles to transport raw materials and supplies from several suppliers within Auckland.

     Greet Customers in a professional and courteous manner during each delivery.

     Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage 

·       Deliver orders to customers and construction sites on time

·       Check delivery schedules and plan routes efficiently Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance wit Health &

      Safety standards, including proper loading and unloading procedures.

      Immediately report any accidents, product damage or delivery issues to your supervisor

      Be available for all shift cover or short- notice deliveries when operational needs arise

       Follow all road safety regulations and company policies 

·       Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry out basic daily checks like fuel, tyres, oil, etc. Manual loading and unloading of stock at delivery locations- heavy lifting involved upto 25Kg.

We are looking for:

·       Should have a valid Class 1 driver's license or equivalent international driver license

·       Should be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicle

·       Have Good communication skills

·       Physically fit with an enthusiastic, patient, and caring attitude

·       A safe and confident driver with a clean record, having held a driving Licence.

·       Ability to pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

 

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $30 to $35 per hour.
