Warehouse Assistant

We are after 2 warehouse assistants!

The Employee will undertake the following duties:

•     Have good organisation and communication skills

•     Helping to keep the stock room flowing

•     Moving the goods to the correct area in the warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment

•     Maintaining the warehouse in a tidy state and clearing away packing material and debris

•     Replenishing shelves on the shop floor as and when required

•     Keeping shelves stocked and looking great for our customers

•     Cleaning work space and/or shop floor and gathering shopping carts in and around the parking lot

•     Ensuring the workspace is left tidy after work is finished

•     Working quickly and efficiently to complete your and your team's daily goals

•     Work will involve walking, bending, lifting medium to heavy loads, usage of tools and/or operating equipment

•     Carrying out any other work given by the supervisor / manager

•     Ability to work independently when required

•     Be reliable and show a solid work ethic

•     Follow a roster system for agreed-upon shift timings and number of hours per week

•     Strictly adhering to all Health and Safety standards

•     $25 to $29 hourly rate with Guaranteed hours: minimum 32 per week

What we want:

•     Someone who is reliable

•     Minimum 1 year of previous relevant experience in warehousing (pick packing) or other relevant role

•     Ideally will have a forklift license, but not required

•     A flexible, "can-do" attitude

All appointments will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and security check.
