HVAC Technician

GP 1995 Limited trading as ServiceX is seeking 2 skilled and reliable HVAC Technicians to join their growing team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems

This is a full-time permanent position based in Hawkes Bay.
Guaranteed 30 hours per week but more hours available depending on workload. Days of work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and after-hours work may be required.

Company vehicle, mobile phone and all necessary tools for the role will be provided.

You will be required to work on various residential and commercial sites throughout Hastings, Napier, Taradale, Havelock North, and the wider Hawke’s Bay region.

Hourly rate $33–$40 per hour (depending on experience)

The role

·      Install, Service and repair HVAC systems and equipment

·      Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions

·      Ensure all installations comply with electrical and safety standards and regulations

·      Perform routine maintenance and inspections

·      Provide clear explanations and professional service to customers

·      Complete job reports and documentation accurately

·      Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications

·      Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition

What We’re Looking For:

Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Must be physically fit and strong and able to conduct heavy lifting.
Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented attitude
Valid driver’s licence

Minimum 2 years of relevant HVAC experience OR Relevant trade qualification (Level 4 or higher) in HVAC or similar field
