Job Summary:

Marvel Kitchens NZ Ltd. T/A Marvel Kitchens and Renovations NZ is a growing Auckland-based company specialising in custom kitchens, cabinetry, and residential renovations. The company prides itself on high-quality workmanship, attention to detail, and delivering outstanding results for its clients.

They are currently seeking a reliable Cabinet Maker to join their team.

The role is permanent, full time with 30 hours guaranteed each week. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry and kitchen units

  • Install cabinetry and fittings on-site when required

  • Construct and assemble frames and supporting structures where required

  • Measure, mark out, cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials

  • Install hinges, locks, catches, drawers, shelves, and other hardware fittings

  • Read and interpret plans and technical drawings

  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines

  • Conduct repairs, refurbishments, and modifications to cabinetry and furniture when required

  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a cabinet maker, joiner, or in a similar trade role
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in kitchen and renovation projects preferred
  • Full driver’s licence preferred
