Courier Drivers Required

Experienced drivers are sought to work in our busy company in Auckland. Work will usually be driving around Auckland but can also be outside Auckland and around the North Island. You will also need to be fit as there will be a lot of lifting involved in this job. As a company we do not tolerate alcohol consumption either whilst driving or prior to driving or any other substance or medication which could affect your driving capabilities and your ability to make rational decisions on the road.

You will be able to show maturity and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people. Must have excellent loading understanding good interpersonal skills and able to work unsupervised.

Your key responsilities will be:

• Loading transporting and delivering items in a safe and timely manner.
• Loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Handling customer enquiries answering questions and escalating any complaints from clients. 
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Keeping the vehicles clean and tidy
• Experience in couriers or a logistic type role is an advantage (though not required)
• You must be physically fit have a keen eye for detail and a 'Can Do Attitude'. 
• You must be reliable and be able to communicate well with other staff and customers.

Applicants should have good references and be a team player.  Must have a class 1 license or have the willingness and ability to obtain one. 

For these roles we are looking at a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. The minimum payrate for this role is $28.00 and the maximum payrate we are looking at is $30.00.
