Looking for qualified ECE Teachers

Location: Auckland
Hours: Monday to Friday, 30 to 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Role
AIS BOP Limited is seeking two qualified and passionate Early Childhood Education Teachers to work at our client's early childhood centre in Auckland on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for planning and delivering quality learning programmes for children aged 0–5 years, in line with Te Whāriki and Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing, and delivering age-appropriate learning programmes aligned with Te Whāriki — the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum
- Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 0–5 years
- Observing, assessing, and documenting children's learning and development
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families/whānau, and colleagues
- Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care
- Contributing to the centre's philosophy, self-review processes, and quality improvement initiatives
- Working collaboratively within a teaching team to support children's individual learning needs
- Maintaining compliance with all relevant licensing, regulatory, and health and safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- A recognised Early Childhood Education qualification ( Level 7 Diploma or Bachelor's degree in ECE)
- Current full or limited practising certificate with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
- At least 3 years of Experience working in ECE centre in New Zealand or equivalent setting overseas
- Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki and the ability to implement it in daily practice is preferred
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development
- Strong communication skills in English both spoken and written
- Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass a Police Vet / Safety Check as required under the Children's Act 2014
