We are seeking a motivated and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing and student recruitment activities while providing general administrative support across the business. The position is based in North Shore, Auckland office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support for marketing and student recruitment activities within designated domestic and international market regions (East Asia).
- Respond to enquiries from students, clients, and education agents via phone, email, and in person, and provide accurate programme and service information.
- Maintain and update student, marketing, and recruitment records, databases, website content, and filing systems.
- Assist with social media updates, promotional campaigns, events, seminars, and student orientation activities targeted to assigned market areas.
- Coordinate and track marketing campaigns, reporting on key metrics and performance insights.
- Conduct market research to support marketing strategy.
- Support communication and relationship management with education agents and partners, including regular follow-up and coordination tasks.
- Assist with application processing, preparation of offer documents, and general office/reception/student counsellor duties as required.
The successful candidate will deliver:
- At least 3 months of proven work experience in marketing support, administration, customer facing office service, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- A qualification in Marketing or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with a range of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WeChat, YouTube etc.
- Basic skills in design and online tools is advantageous.
- Understanding of international students and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds is essential.
- Language skills – in addition to business-level English proficiency, basic proficiency in Japanese and/or Korean is highly advantageous to effectively engage with targeted international markets.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt quickly in a busy work environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High compliance with the health and safety and relevant industrial Code.
- A proactive and hands-on approach with willingness to support a range of administrative and marketing coordination tasks.
Why Join Us
Salary: $24 to $26 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Operating hours: 8:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday
