Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Marketing Specialist to join our busy team in Hamilton. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Planning, developing, and organising advertising policies and campaigns to support business growth and promote company services

• Advising management on marketing strategies and market opportunities for the business

• Coordinating and implementing marketing campaigns through websites, social media platforms, and other advertising channels

• Analysing consumer behaviour, market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify marketing opportunities

• Collecting and interpreting market data to assist with business development and promotional planning

• Developing and maintaining the company’s online marketing presence, including Facebook, Instagram, and other digital platforms

• Liaising with advertising agencies, media organisations, and service providers to arrange promotional activities within budget requirements

• Advising on pricing strategies, promotional activities, and improving brand awareness to maximise sales and customer engagement

• Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and preparing reports for management review

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree (or higher) OR at least five years of relevant work experience

• Strong communication, marketing, and research skills

• Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram

• Strong organisational and analytical abilities

• A high level of responsibility and reliability

• The ability to maintain a drug- and alcohol-free workplace
