This is a long-term mechanical fitting role based in Kambalda, Western Australia, servicing mine sites across Kalgoorlie and Kambalda. The pay is strong, the hours are consistent, and the client is not looking for the best mechanical fitter in the world. They want someone who shows up, works hard, and brings a good attitude every single day.
  • Earn 60 AUD per hour flat rate on 10 to 12 hour shifts
  • Temporary accommodation provided on arrival while you get settled in Kambalda
  • Serious savings potential: stick it out 2 to 3 years in Kambalda and you will come out ahead financially in a way that simply is not possible back in NZ
  • Long-term, stable role with consistent hours and no uncertainty about the next job
  • Mining industry exposure: build serious mechanical maintenance experience on a respected WA operation
  • Supportive environment where effort and attitude are valued over perfection
  • The client wants coachable, hardworking people who will commit, not elite technicians

  • Site services and general mechanical maintenance
  • Surface dewatering systems installation and upkeep
  • Working as part of a team on a live mining operation

Why This Role

If you are a mechanical fitter or plant fitter who is hungry, reliable, and ready to back yourself for 2 to 3 years, this is the move that actually changes your financial position.
