Responsibilities:
• Interpret door production sheets to correctly fabricate parts.
• Weld and assemble roller shutter door drums.
• Assemble door slats onto drums with correct alignment and fit.
• Roll form, fabricate and weld door guides to required measurements.
• Safely use hand and power tools including welders, grinders, and drills.
• Carry out preventative, reactive, and ongoing maintenance where applicable.
• Identify and suggest improvements to equipment, processes, and machinery.
• Work collaboratively with contractors and other trade professionals when required.
• Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule for welding equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times.
• Check completed parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Record production data, material usage, and report any issues to supervisors.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or finished products when required.
• Report equipment faults, safety hazards, or production concerns promptly.
• Support other production areas in factory when needed to meet workflow and deadlines
 
Requirements: 
• 2–3 years’ experience in metal fabrication and welding.
• Experience reading and working from production sheets.
• Confident using grinders, drills, and other welding tools safely and accurately.
