Truck Driver

We have 10 Truck driver positions available in Auckland region.

Minimum hours of work will be 30 hours and Maximum 60 hours. Salary will be $30-$35 per hour depending on capability. Citizens and residents will be preferred but capable candidates will be supported for work visa. 
 
To be considered for this role: -

• High standard of personal presentation and health & safety practices
• Must have valid clean Class 4 and 5 NZ Driver License or an equivalent overseas driver's license which can be converted into New Zealand Licence 
• Must be available for early mornings and late evenings and to work over the weekends.
• Able to work on rotation shift – day & night.
• Will work locally or travel long distances which means spending nights away from home.
• You should carry out routine checks of your truck
• Check the condition of the load and make sure it's secure.
• Keep appropriate records of and check invoices for materials they are carrying
• Keep Logbooks of hours you will work
• Applicant should have basic knowledge of the mechanics of the truck and how to maintain it
• Must pass company induction
• Knowledge of transport law and related industry law
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazards conditions

Work experience is not compulsory but candidates with no trucking experience will be required to pass a road test conducted by the employer or their representative to prove that they are proficient in their trade.

Class 4 and 5 driver licence required. Successful candidates must have a clean criminal record and must pass a drug and alcohol test
