Foreman (Civil Construction) New Plymouth or Palmerston North

Our client is an established civil contractor with a strong presence across the North Island, specialising in large-scale drainage, concrete construction, and energy/utility infrastructure. They have a solid pipeline of work and are looking for a capable Foreman to take ownership on site.

This is not a roading role, the work is more technical, detail-focused, and suited to someone who understands how to deliver quality infrastructure properly.

The role:

• Leading crews across drainage, concrete and utility projects

• Coordinating subcontractors, plant, and materials

• Reading plans and driving works to programme

• Maintaining high standards across H&S and quality

• Taking ownership of site delivery day-to-day

Projects include:

• Water infrastructure (Three Waters)

• Electrical substations and energy infrastructure

• Solar farm developments

• Complex earthworks, drainage, and concrete structures (in-situ and precast)

About You

You will bring:

• Proven Foreman experience in civil construction

• Strong background in drainage and/or concrete works

• Experience in utilities or energy projects a plus

• A hands-on leader who sets the standard on site

• Organised, practical, and confident making decisions
