We are looking for full-time Carpenters to grow with our team. Our work locations are across the Auckland Region. Suitable candidates will work in teams to support sites and deliver high-quality construction projects.

The tasks include the following:

  • Interpret building plans and technical drawings
  • Measure, order, cut, shape, assemble, and join timber and other materials
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, flooring, walls, roofing, cabinetry, and doors
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times
  • Any other duties the employer may reasonably require the employee to perform

 

The desired candidate should:

  • Have minimum 2 years relevant work experience
  • We encourage applications from individuals with a Bachelor’s degree or above (in any discipline) who are looking to enter the construction industry; your qualification may substitute for work experience if you demonstrate high learning aptitude
  • Ideally be a great team player, site safety mind
  • Good work ethic, neat, punctual, and organized
  • Good level of physical ability

 

We offer a competitive rate of $30 - $35 per hour for suitable candidate depending on abilities and experiences. We offer a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
