Position Title: Fruit Production Supervisor
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Katikati, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $27 – $34 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience or Level 4 Qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily orchard and fruit production activities.
  • Monitor plant health, irrigation systems, and pest/disease conditions.
  • Allocate tasks and manage orchard workers and seasonal staff.
  • Lead seasonal activities including pruning, thinning, and canopy management.
  • Train workers in horticultural techniques and safe work practices.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production records and orchard activity logs.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure fruit meets required standards.
  • Oversee safe use of orchard tools and equipment.
  • Report progress, issues, and resource requirements to management.
