Carpenter

Beyond Construction 2020 Limited is looking for 8 full-time Carpenters to join the team. Ideal candidates must have the following:

• 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification
• Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime
• Must be flexible to work early-morning and late-night shifts
• Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site
• Strong commitment to safe work practices
• Be hard-working, reliable and motivated
• Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team
• Physically fit the job and can work outdoors in the hot and cold season

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the site manager or other senior managers as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand project specifications
• Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, brattices, frame buildings and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Install hardwood doors, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulation
• Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
• Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines
• Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management, are met
• Any other tasks that are reasonably requested by the employer from time to time
