They believe strong businesses are built on great people, and that starts with having solid foundations within the People & Capability function and with this in mind, they are seeking to appoint a switched-on and proactive People & Capability Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the P&C team.
The Opportunity:
This is a hands-on, fast-paced coordination role, where you will be at the centre of all P&C activity.
You will be responsible for ensuring all core people processes run smoothly, efficiently, and professionally, from preparing employment agreements and onboarding staff, through to managing uniforms, maintaining employee records, coordinating inductions, reference checking and supporting wider people initiatives.
This role is not just a “process-following” role. There is a strong focus on process improvement and helping to implement better systems and ways of working. It will suit someone who has seen what best practice looks like in a well-run HR support function and is confident in helping to bring that structure into a growing environment.
For someone with initiative and ambition, this role offers the opportunity to become actively involved in projects, process improvements and broader People & Capability initiatives that will help shape the future of the function.
The Role in more detail:

Manage onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee starter experience.

Coordinate employment agreements, letters, IRD and other employee documentation.

Coordinate system access, logins, and employee setup requirements.

Manage pre-employment checks, including police vetting, references, and other compliance checks.

Manage uniform and merchandise ordering processes.

Support employee induction processes across the business, working closely with department managers.

Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.

Support a busy recruitment function, including candidate communication and interview coordination.

Support the rollout of new HR programs and systems and becoming a key user across the business.

Support and coordinate key business initiatives, with the opportunity to step up and take the lead on projects.

Be actively involved in building new processes and implementing best practise as the business continues to grow.
About You:
-
1-2 years previous experience in a People & Capability or Human Resources Admin/Coordinator role, or a similar position

Strong administration and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Experience preparing employment documentation and coordinating onboarding processes.

The ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep things moving.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

A genuine interest in process improvement and operational efficiency.

Strong technology skills across Microsoft Office and HR systems.

A positive, team-focused attitude, with a willingness to support wherever needed.

Excited to take the responsibility and ownership of projects.

Exposure to improving systems, workflows or processes would be highly advantageous.
