Job Salary : $28.00 - $31.00  

Working place: Auckland

Working hour per week: 30 - 50

We are an Auckland-based construction company specializing in residential carpentry work. Our main services include timber framing, decking, fencing, timber retaining walls, and other general residential carpentry projects. Over the years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering reliable workmanship, quality finishes, and efficient project completion for homeowners and builders across Auckland.

Due to ongoing business growth and increasing project demand, we are currently seeking two experienced carpenters to join our team. The successful candidates will play an important role in supporting our current and upcoming residential construction projects.

The role will include, but not limited to:

  • Study the specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans  

  • Prepare the project layout and determine the dimensions 

  • Select and order timber and other materials  

  • Remove, repair or discard damaged or worn parts, equipment or material 

  • Cut and assemble piece or materials 

  • Install prepared items to buildings 

  • Fit structures like roof timbers, staircases, windows, partition walls and door frames.  

  • Ensure that prepared items are suitable for New Zealand conditions 

  • Ensure customer requirements are met 

  • Estimate the required materials 

  • Select and order materials and tools 

  • Follow established safety rules and regulations 

  • Any other related tasks may be assigned from time to time by the employer  

Job pre-requisites: 

  • At least 2 year full-time relevant experience (experience gained in the same industry can be considered as meeting the experience requirements)

  • Relevant qualification or certificate is preferable but not a must

  • Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.

  • physically capable of performing heavy work be able to work overtime 

  • excellent work ethics and great time management passion for the industry.

  • The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions
