The business requires a Warehouse Manager to manage inventory systems, oversee storage and supply operations, and ensure efficient flow of goods from suppliers to store shelves. This role is essential for maintaining stock availability, cost control, and smooth supply chain operations.

Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $32 – $40 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • Qualification at bachelor level or higher OR at least 5 years’ experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine, implement, and monitor purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies.
  • Develop and maintain stock control systems to ensure adequate inventory levels at optimal cost.
  • Plan and implement inventory management procedures, including re‑ordering and stock rotation.
  • Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, supply terms, delivery schedules, and product quality.
  • Monitor storage systems and warehouse operations to ensure efficient stock handling and organisation.
  • Oversee receiving, storing, and distribution of grocery products.
  • Maintain accurate records of all stock movements and transactions.
  • Coordinate with store management regarding stock requirements and product availability.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, allocate tasks, and monitor performance.
  • Ensure health & safety compliance in warehouse operations and storage areas.
  • Prepare operational reports, stock evaluations, and supply chain performance data.
  • Ensure products are handled and stored in accordance with food safety standards.
