We are looking for an experienced Technician for our busy phone retail and repair shop in Hamilton.

Key responsibilities:

  • Checking and diagnosing problems in mobile phones and electronic devices.
  • Taking apart and repairing mobile phones and then putting them back together correctly.
  • Replacing damaged or faulty parts such as screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers, cameras, laptops and other components.
  • Testing mobile/computer phones after repair to make sure they are working properly.
  • Using repair tools and equipment safety and correctly.
  • Finding wiring or component problems

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 7 qualification in electronics or electrical field
  • A valid Electronic service technician certificate is mandatory
  • 5+ Years of work experience in mobile/computer and networking field
  • A valid car drivers licence
  • Ability to understand electronic circuit diagrams and schemetics for fault finding and diagnosis
