We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable candidate for Cabinet Installer’s position to autonomously manage, organises and controls the operations of our busy freight delivery business.  It is a Full-time role working minimum 30 hours per week.

Tasks Include:

• Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, measurements and work instructions for installation projects
• Assisting with measuring installation areas and preparing materials for cabinetry installation
• Installing kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, bathroom vanities and other cabinetry at residential and commercial sites
• Fitting and securing pre-manufactured cabinets, panels, drawers, shelves and related components
• Installing hinges, handles, locks, runners and other associated hardware
• Using hand and power tools to assemble and install cabinetry components
• Checking measurements and ensuring cabinets are level, aligned and securely fitted
• Assisting with minor cutting, trimming and adjustments to cabinetry materials where required
• Working with timber, laminate, MDF, particle board and other cabinetry materials
• Coordinating with supervisors, tradespeople and clients during installation projects
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of work areas during and after installations
• Loading, unloading and transporting cabinetry and materials to work sites
• Inspecting completed installations to ensure quality and client satisfaction
• Assisting with repair, replacement and maintenance of installed cabinetry where required
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Job pre-requisites:

  • Minimum Level 2 relevant qualification OR

  • 1 year Work Experience in similar business OR

Able to work long and flexible hours including early morning and weekends.
