We are looking for Concrete Truck Driver/operator to join our team, as a Concrete Truck Driver/operator, you will be responsible for safely delivering ready-mix concrete to construction and residential sites, ensuring that the concrete is mixed properly, and maintaining a safe driving record. You will also assist in the loading and unloading of concrete and perform basic truck maintenance as required.

Responsibilities: · Operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites. · Ensure safe delivery of concrete to the correct location within the specified time. · Communicate with dispatch to verify delivery schedules and requirements.· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. · Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, and other required documentation. · Assist with loading and unloading the truck and ensure the concrete meets specifications. · Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Report any issues with equipment or deliveries to the supervisor.
Requirements: · Valid commercial driver's license (Class 4) Or Overseas Equivalent. · Previous experience driving a concrete mixer truck or similar heavy equipment preferred. · Ability to read and understand delivery instructions. · Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others. · Must be physically able to load and unload materials, as well as perform basic truck maintenance. · Ability to work in varying weather conditions. · Must be able to lift up to 25k/g weight. · Must be Physically Fit as job can be physically demanding sometimes. · Ability to work without supervision. · Ability to Driver Road Ranger Gearbox Preferred Benefits: · Competitive salary based on experience. Ability to commute/relocate: · Christchurch, Canterbury: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Licence/Certification: · Class 4 Drivers or Overseas Equivalent.
