Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and implement functional software solutions for the Valocity Platform. In this role, you will be involved in requirements gathering, solution design, development, deployment, and ongoing support across multiple platform components.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with user needs and business objectives. You should be able to work effectively within a team environment and possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
· Document and maintain system requirements and functionality.
· Analyse business requirements and assist in estimating development efforts.
· Write well-designed, secure, and thoroughly tested code.
· Develop software verification and testing plans.
· Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and upgrade existing systems.
· Undertake problem-solving and issue resolution activities.
· Communicate effectively with business users and project team members.
· Assist with automation, deployment, and monitoring activities.
Minimum Qualification and Work Experience Requirements
· At least three years of relevant work experience; and
· A relevant bachelor’s degree qualification, majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills
• Experience designing and developing full-stack cloud applications.
• Proficient in C# and .NET, with experience in REST/GraphQL APIs and asynchronous microservices.
• Front-end experience with Angular 17+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Azure cloud services – including AKS (Kubernetes), Azure Front Door, App Gateway, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, and Key Vault.
• Understanding of containerisation (Docker, Helm) and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, object-oriented principles, and secure coding standards.
• Proactive use of AI in development and environments especially co-pilot • Familiarity with Agile delivery, test automation (xUnit, Playwright), and monitoring tools (App Insights, Log Analytics).
