We're a busy Auckland-based specialist waterproofing and protective coatings company looking for an experienced tradesman that can handle waterproofing work.

What you'll be doing

• Applying a range of waterproofing systems including Xypex crystalline, TPO membranes, cementitious coatings, hydrophilic waterstops, epoxy systems and fibreglass waterproofing.

• Stripping coatings off blockwork and prepping surfaces

• Applying protective coatings and intumescent fire-protection coatings over prepared steel

• Working to AS/NZS 2312 standards for steel protective coatings

• General site work on commercial and residential projects across Auckland

What you'll need

• Proven experience as a waterproofer (3 years or more)

• Solid knowledge of the product range above

• Site Safe / Site Wise card

• Full NZ driver's licence

• The right to work in New Zealand

• Working at Heights ticket (preferred)

• Confined Space ticket (preferred)

• Manufacturer training/certs in Xypex, TPO or similar (a big plus)

The role

• Pay: $31 per hour

• Hours: Full-time, permanent

• Location: Based out of Mount Wellington, working across Auckland

• Steady year-round work, variety of jobs, small switched-on team
