Operations Manager Job Description:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring timely job delivery, consistent quality, and staff performance across the Taupo region.

  • Train and manage cleaning, admin, and coordination teams; assign/reassign staff based on skills and inspect work regularly.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service quotes via phone, email, chat, or in-person, resolving issues promptly.

  • Manage budgeting, expenses, payroll, invoicing, stocktaking, and vendor negotiations under director supervision.

  • Maintain vehicles (WOF, rego, servicing), order supplies, and assist staff with domestic/commercial cleaning as needed.

  • Conduct health/safety audits, franchise compliance checks, and participate in staff/management meetings.

  • Identify operational issues, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement through industry best practices.

  • Champion sanitation perfectionism, quality control, and innovation to uphold company standards.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven 3-5+ years in operations management, ideally in cleaning/services

  • Bachelor's in business/management or equivalent experience; strong leadership, budgeting, and customer service skills.

  • Commitment to health/safety compliance and team development.

 

What we offer:

This is a permanent, full-time offer with a minimum of 30 hrs/week to a maximum of 40 hrs/week.
