Pit Stop Auckland is a well-established automotive service provider committed to delivering high-quality vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in motor vehicles
  • Conducting routine servicing and maintenance of vehicles
  • Repairing and replacing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems
  • Performing vehicle inspections and identifying repair requirements
    Using diagnostic equipment and tools to assess vehicle performance
  • Carrying out warrant of fitness preparation work
  • Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements
  • Providing professional customer service and technical advice where required
    Skills and Experience Required

Applicants should have:

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic; or
  • A relevant Level 4 automotive qualification or equivalent
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Full driver licence preferred
