Salary: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

About the role:

Pandit Enterprises Limited T/A Old School Barber is seeking two experienced Unisex Barber to join our team in Tauranga. 

This is a full-time role suitable for a skilled barber who can provide high-quality barbering services to clients of all genders in a professional salon environment.

Key duties and responsibilities :

  • Cutting, trimming and styling hair using clippers, scissors and razors

  • Shampooing, conditioning and treating hair and scalp

  • Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches

  • Providing advice on hair care, grooming and suitable styles

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work environment

  • Sterilising tools and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards

  • Managing client bookings and delivering professional customer service

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant barbering experience or relevant qualification

  • Ability to perform a wide range of men’s and women’s haircuts and grooming services

  • Good customer service and communication skills

  • Knowledge of hygiene and workplace health and safety practices

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
