We are looking for experienced Quality Assurance Manager. for our client, you will be working in Auckland, with weekly guaranteed hours at least 30 and a gross hourly pay rate of $35 per hour.
You will be required to undertake the following job duties:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company Quality Management Sytem.
- Ensure compliance with relevant New Zealand regulations, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
- Mainatin quality policies, precudures, manuals and documentation.
- Monitor and improve quality performance indicators and reporting systems.
- Lead internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Coordinate certification and surveillance audits.
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Identify opportunities to improve product quality, process efficiency, and operational performance.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations and quality improvement initiatives.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies where applicable.
- Oversee inspection and testing processes.
- Ensure products/services meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Review and approve quality documentation and release processes.
- Lead andmentor quality assurance staff and inspectors.
- Provide training and coaching on quality standards and procedures.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Support operational teams with quality-related guidance and technical advice.
- Prepare quality reports for senior management.
Experience requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in a similiar role.
- Strong knowledge of quality managemnet systems and ISO standards.
- Excellent analytical adn problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership and people management cpability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagemnet skills.
- Ability to manage audits, compliance, and risk effectively.
- Strong organisational and reporting skills.
- Proficient in quality system, ERP systems, and Microsoft Officer Suite.
