About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to guide our clients through the vehicle finance and sales journey. It is a ful-time permanent role with a  minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding and supporting new customers through finance consultation, documentation, loan queries, and the buying process.
  • Gathering and handling al required information for finance applications from customers via company live chat, email, phone & online company social media channels.
  • Creating and maintaining excelent relationships with customers.
  • Analyzing that correct information is colected from the clients that includes their credit score, income, IRD, etc. to ensure policy standards are met.
  • Helps clients to fil out the company’s internal and external finance company applications. 
  • Submitting finance applications in al the relevant finance company portals from the information colected from clients via company different sale channels
  • Utilizing expertise to get client’s finance approvals in a timely & productive manner.
  • Perform client’s finance loan affordability assessments and finance approval decisions as per applicable laws & regulations.
  • Thoroughly signing successful clients sale & purchase agreements, insurance policies and relevant finance company approved finance contracts with clients as per finance company criteria.
  • Printing documents and submitting documents to finance companies for processing of loans.
  • Dealing with walk-in customers and converting them to a probable sale.
  • Utilising best customer service & sale ski ls to convert probable leads (obtained via phone, online sale channels or walk-in clients) to successful SALE
  • Consistently achieve company’s monthly, quarterly, & annual sale targets using best sale & customer service techniques
  • Proactively solve clients’s aer-sale vehicle or finance complaints.
  • Maintaining the customers catalogue on a daily basis
  • Building and strengthening the relationship with vehicle finance companies, key stakeholders, and customers
  • Ensuring compliance with the lending criteria and standards requested by the finance
    companies.
  • Supporting the team with interpreting market research to identify market opportunities and new consumer trends in the Automotive industry in New Zealand
  • Implementing strategies to build and maintain customer relationships, the organisation’s image with the wider public, existing and new finance companies.
  • Would be responsible of keeping records of overdue accounts and take appropriate legal actions

Other Attributes Required:

  • Must have three years of relevant work experience OR a minimum level 4 qualification.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle financing and lending criteria is preferred.
  • Excelent communication and interpersonal skils
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
