Huax Construction Ltd is seeking reliable and experienced Brick and Blocklayers to join our growing construction team based in Auckland.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week. Working hours will be scheduled between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

  •       Laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials in accordance with plans and specifications
  •       Constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, and other structures
  •       Measuring and cutting materials to required dimensions
  •       Mixing and applying mortar
  •       Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety requirements
  •       Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
  •       Maintaining tools and equipment

Job Requirements:

  •       At least 2 years of relevant work experience; OR
  •       A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent

Pay Rate:
$27.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
