Parts Person – Busy Workshop (Gisborne)

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Parts Person to join our busy workshop in Gisborne. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can stay organised, work efficiently, and handle a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing parts inventory and stock control
  • Ordering, receipting, and tracking parts
  • Assisting workshop staff with parts requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and computer-based systems
  • Keeping the parts area clean and well organised What We’re Looking For:
  • Must be experienced in heavy equipment & transport
  • Experience in forestry machinery would be and advantage
  • Strong computer skills (essential)
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
