Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering structural design solutions across residential and commercial builds
• Producing technical documentation, including producer statements and detailed reports
• Working alongside in-house designers and drafters in both 2D and 3D modelling environments
• Carrying out site inspections, field assessments, and construction monitoring
• Contributing across multidisciplinary projects spanning structural, civil, and geotechnical work
• Engaging with clients, contractors, and councils to support successful project delivery

About the Team & Work
You’ll be joining a small, highly collaborative team of engineers and architectural designers who work closely together to deliver high quality project outcomes.
The work is varied and hands-on, with exposure to:

• Residential and commercial modification projects
• Seismic strengthening and heritage restoration work
• Agricultural and council bridge projects
• Larger-scale commercial developments

What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Structural Engineer with 2 years of practical design experience
• Previous NZ engineering experience preferred, with familiarity around NZBC requirements, relevant standards, and compliance frameworks highly valued
• Proven ability to prepare clear, accurate engineering documentation and reports
• Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a team environment
• Strong communication skills across clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
• A proactive approach and willingness to expand capability across related disciplines

What’s on Offer
• Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 per annum
• Diverse, interesting project exposure across multiple sectors
• A supportive but autonomous, non-corporate team culture where your input is valued
• Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities
• Clear progression pathway, including future opportunities to grow into the wider company structure
