we are looking for 2 full-time Tilers to join the team in Auckland.

Ideal candidates must have the followings:

2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification

Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.

Must be flexible to work early-morning and late-night shifts.

Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site.

Strong commitment to safe work practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Reading and discussing plans to estimate budgets on raw materials.

Measuring and making marks on surfaces according to plans for preparation.

Removing old tiles, grout and adhesive to make place for new replacement.

Spreading adhesive on the surfaces and tiles and arranging tiles in appropriate places.

Using techniques to match tiles with the intended patterns, shapes and edges with tools.

Aligning tiles properly and spacing tiles correctly.

Ensuring tiles are thoroughly grouted and sealed with grout and clearing away excess grout.

Establishing waterproofing systems.

Making use of granolithic, cement and other materials if required.

Fitting tiles in pattern for decorative purposes such as creating mosaics.
